Tour of Tasmania # day 2 dinner

Second day dinner, we dine in Blue Eye Restaurant which located in the heart of Salamanca place. 

Every meal was started with bread. 

Starter

Local scallops, crumbed, tartare sauce, lemon

Slightly surprise when we noticed that scallops were served in fried form as we were hoping to taste the freshness of the scallops (perhaps just steam ).

This was yummy! Thai fishcakes. It was awesome and out of my expectation as it seems like normal to me when I looked at the name of the dish. This story told me that, never judge too early.

Fish of the day: Moo Brew beer battered,crumbed or grilled

Longford scotch fillet of beef, slow roasted tomato, mushroom, greens, chips

Vegetarian mixed grill, roast mushroom, + tomato, asparagus, chips, salad, tartare

This was my order. I chose this is because i think that i need something vege rather than meat. It was too much meat during first night dinner.  But honestly, I don't really like too big piece of raw vege. However, i love the roast mushroom and tomato. Super nice!!! The taste of mushroom and tomato is so so original??! (sorry for my poor vocabulary, that is the only word that i can think of.) I don't know how to describe the taste. It, just....super nice!!!

Another night held my big stomach which filled with good food in Tasmania. LOL!

Walking out the restaurant, it was super cold. Seriously super cold at night. Feel impressed when saw few girls who wearing sleeveless dress  walking on the street in this super cold night. Well, Salamanca is a happening place as bars and pubs are located there.Wish them enjoyed the night.

Company 25th Anniversary Tour of Tasmania # day 2

On the second day, we went to Bruny Island. It is located at South - Eastern coast of Tasmania. After having our breakfast at hotel, we depart to Port Kettering. We reached Bruny Island by ferry from Port Kettering. The journey took 15 minutes and arrives at Roberts Point. 

After we reached Bruny Island, there was around  one hour journey drive to the Adventure Bay. After  enjoyed light refreshment, we were on boat for a 3 hours Bruny Island Wilderness Cruise. 

Honestly, I was just vomited when we reached Port Kettering. Therefore, I was a bit not feel well and swollen some medicine which make me feel a bit sleepy. Besides, I felt super super cold, almost freeze at there. Although everyone of us had took the ginger tablet, I even took two! I think I should take three tablet at least. Why? I was almost hibernate due to sleepiness, coldness and dizziness. However, this was fantastic experience. I say so is because the nature environment there is so much beautiful and amazing.  I was totally impressed by the nature view there.

Dolphin!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!Almost everyone were screaming. I am the exception as I was no extra energy to scream. 

We were having lunch at beach side cafe after the cruise ended. Soup was provided to warm up our body. 

During our journey back to the port, our boss not to forget bought some fresh oysters. HURRAY!!!!

Company 25th Anniversary Tour of Tasmania #1

Company has reached its 25th years. Our big boss was decided to celebrate it by organizing a trip to Tasmania.  Of course for new employee like me have to pay partially for the trip. However, it is very very worth. XD

On 14th of march 23.45, we had depart from KLIA to Melbourne airport by MAS. It took almost 8 hour journey to reach Melbourne airport. I can't get to sleep in the plane although I had took medicine. Watching people around me had fall into sleep but I was awake for whole night. And finally, I got headache when reached Melbourne airport. 

After checked in at Dosmetic Tullamarine airport, we had our lunch at the airport. Hungry Jack was suggested by my friend. 

The first place we visited was cascade brewery which located at Hobart. It is the oldest brewery in Australia. Brewery tour are available there. However, there was insufficient time for us as we reached there almost 3pm something and their closing time is 4pm. Therefore, bunch of people were in their visitor centre to enjoy their beer. Outdoor seats are available whereby you can enjoy the beer with the amazing view.  You may choose indoor seats to have your beer in a very comfortable and relax environment.

It is such a great place for you to relax, having beer and chatting with friends or family. Highly recommended if you plan to go Tasmania. However, you may need sufficient time to visit this place and enjoy your beer in a super nice environment.

After that, we had checked in hotel to get ourselves ready for dinner. Wrest Point hotel, located at Hobart. The room is amazing, and comfortable. I feel regret as I did not take a photo of the room. Never mine, I still have this:

Looked out of the window. There is sea view which made me and my roommate spoke the "wowwww!!" word again. 

We had our first dinner in Tasmania, at Barilla Bay Restaurant.  Since oyster farm are available there, the restaurant offer fresh oysters.

I don't really try raw food. However, Tasmania is famous of seafood and it is a waste if din't try any. Therefore, I had try on it and I got shocked! LOL! I started understand why there are people love raw oysters so much. It taste awesome! It was very very fresh and juicy without the irritating smell. Well, not just raw oysters, there are cheese baked oysters, Lime and Tabasco jelly, Kilpatrick with bacon and etc.

The creamy sauce taste nice with the bread. Of course won't forget the fresh mussels which is very yummy.

In my point of view, nothing too special for this. However, can't deny that seafood was very fresh.

The dish was served with Heidi Gruyere which made in Tasmania. It taste good for me. Not to forgot the chutney which made in Tasmania too.

We were sharing all of the above in order to taste all of it.Absolutely, we enjoyed the dinner very much. 

After dinner, we went back to hotel.  We dropped by a supermarket for awhile to grab something, and explore. We are lucky as we found two supermarket which open till late night. 

That's my first day of Tasmania trip.

New Year, New Start, New Journey

Time, it would not stop for you, it will just moving forward non-stop, so do our life. 2013 years had become history.  Looking backwards, this year, is a very special year. From a uni student, I had transform to a employee now. I still remember how we rush our fyp and final exam in the beginning of the year, got a job and attended the graduation ceremony  It is so call enter another stage of life.

Honestly, i am so so miss my uni life.  For me, being a student is always better than being an employee. I guess the reason will be, responsibility and it is hard to face the cruel of reality. However, i think i still the lucky one as i meet the manager who always willing to guide me. That's why i feel this year is a very meaningful, memorable and fruitful year. (Ignore and forget the bad thing.XD)


Although there is huge different in different stage of life, there is one thing that never change. Be strong, is always the important key word to go through our life.  Hope everything will be fine in 2014. Wishing all of you Happy New Year and all the best. And again, would like to say thank you for all the one who love and support me always.

戴上四方帽的那一天

以前，总是觉得戴上四方帽是个遥不可及的事。 但时间过得真的很快， 而我，也顺利完成大学课程， 顺利和朋友们一起毕业。

当天， 大家都好兴奋。在毕业典礼还没正式开始，  除了不停整理衣作， 还有不停的拍照， 希望为这重要的日子留下美好的回忆。。

终于， 毕业生列队进入礼堂。 看见许多毕业生与出席的家人朋友， 心里的滋味， 还真的难以形容。。。是兴奋，又觉得感动。。

在台下，看着其他科系的毕业生一个个上台，心在想， 到底几时会轮到我们呢？  等待着上台时， 大家都很紧张。。。 我还担心自己会在台上跌倒。。

等了许久， 我们， 开始列队上台了。。 眼见朋友一个个上了台， 接过毕业棒， 我的脑海一片空白。。当轮到我时， 我紧张到已经不能思考了。接过毕业棒，除了紧张和兴奋， 还有少许的光荣。 虽然成绩不是非常好，但至少， 我没让家人失望，至少， 我可以证明给一些看不起我的三姑六婆看， 我也是可以毕业的。。。

台下三年功，台上几秒钟。。 这句话真的形容得非常地贴切。 从台上走下来后，仿佛一切都结束了。 三年的奋斗， 就这样结束了。 听着表演者唱着“祝你一路顺风”时， 眼眶湿了，为了不让自己哭出来，  努力地克制自己的眼泪。 当下的心情非常复杂， 是难以形容的。 不过我想， 其中一个想哭的原因就是分离吧。这段大学的旅程结束， 也意味着朋友们各奔前程了。

我们都来自不同的地方，却可以认识彼此， 这就是缘分吧。 谢谢你们，在这三年的陪伴。希望大家都可以达到自己想到的目的地吧。。 All the best!!
